Cycling Accidents
Rule 180 of the Highway Code identifies cyclists amongst one of the most vulnerable of road users. Cycling accidents occur from incidents involving collisions with motorists, a defect on the highway, defective cycling equipment or as a result of an organised cycling event.
If you or a member of your family have suffered an injury as a result of a cycling accident whilst commuting to and from work or whilst cycling for leisure, training or racing you may be entitled to receive compensation for both the injury you have suffered and any expenses you have incurred, for example loss of earnings.
In our experience a cycling accident can have a tremendous impact on injured cyclist, particularly on keen cyclists where the implication on years of training can be considerable. We can help guide you on ways to lessen the impact of your accident.
How we can help you
Our specialist team of cycling solicitors have a wealth of experience of representing cyclists who are injured through no fault of their own. Because of our experience we are able to promptly assess whether your claim is likely to be successful and help progress your claim to the earliest resolution.
We promote the use of early intervention and rehabilitation so that injured cyclists are assisted if possible in making the earliest recovery. We also consider the use of sports experts to assist in reporting on the biomechanical developments that may arise further to the return to cycling following the accident.
