If you or your relative is in a nursing home because of severe physical or mental health needs you may be paying fees that should be funded by the NHS.
The Court of Appeal and Health Services Ombudsman have ruled that the criteria used for assessing whether fees should be paid by the NHS do not meet legal requirements.
If you or your relative has been paying fees since 1st April 1996, you may be entitled to financial reimbursement.
